  • AXIS DEER PRICING: 31”+ - $6,000

Axis deer (Axis axis) are easily identified by an orange coat with white spots similar to a whitetail fawn. Mature males and females have white patches on their throat while only mature males have antlers with an average of 6 points per antler. Female axis deer do not grow antlers and have a mature body size of 90 to 150 lbs while males weigh an average of 150 to 250 pounds.

Axis deer were introduced in 1932 as a game meat. They were kept on farms or controlled hunting sites for food purposes. Since their introduction, axis deer have escaped captivity and established in Texas, with over 6,000 free ranging animals and 40,000 kept on private hunting ranges.

  • AOUDAD PRICING: $4,500

Native to northern Africa along the Barbary Coast, aoudads are large sheep with horns curving outward, backward and then inward. Coats are tan and mature males have long hair on the chest and forelegs, commonly called chaps. Typical trophies weigh 250 to 280 lbs.

  • The elk, or wapiti, is one of the largest species within the deer family, and one of the largest terrestrial mammals in its native range of North America and Central and East Asia. The word "elk" originally referred to the European variety of the moose, Alces alces, but was transferred to Cervus canadensis by North American colonists.

  • FALLOW DEER PRICING: $7,000

Fallow deer are originally from the Mediterranean region of Europe and Asia Minor. Mature males weigh 160 to 220lbs and come in 3 varieties: spotted, chocolate, and the most common, white. Trophy animals are 6+ years of age and generally have 25+ inch beams with 4 or more inches of palmation. Management animals usually are 4+ years old and lack desired palmation.
